Infrared Saunas
Infrawell's Carbon Panel Heaters
InfraWell's Carbon Panel Heaters Concentrate Infrared on your body for a Quick Heavy Sweat
InfraWell Saunas feature High Quality, 'High Watt Density' Carbon Panel heaters. Many competing brands of saunas use lower quality 'Low Watt Density' heaters that do not provide the same level of Infrared intensity as the InfrawWell saunas.
Inferior low watt density panels are easily recognized, they cover much of the interior of the sauna with heaters extending up above the user's head. Heaters are not required above the head and this is wasteful of the limited amount of power available in the sauna.
InfrarWell's heaters do not extend above the head and are strategically placed in the sauna to optimize the Infrared aimed at your body. By maximizing the Infrared on your body Infrawell saunas produce a quick heavy sweat!!

InfraWell's Carbon Panel Heater Safety Report
In recent years most Infrared sauna manufacturers have switched from using ceramic 'element type' heaters to carbon panel heaters. Carbon panel heaters are made from different forms of carbon (liquid carbon, powdered carbon or carbon fibres) which are sandwiched between fibreglass panels.
Are Carbon Panel/Fibreglass Panels safe for use in Saunas?
Some have suggested that carbon /fibreglass panels may be unsafe due to offgassing of chemicals into the sauna. Indeed, in our experience some low quality panel heaters do emit odours and may not be safe for use in the saunas.
InfraWell Panel Heaters: Proven Odourless and Non Toxic
To ensure the safety of the InfraWell Carbon Panel heaters we subjected them to VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emission testing by an independent lab, Pacific Environmental Consulting. Here are some of their findings:
"Volatile Organic Compounds are emitted as gases from certain solids and liquids and include a variety of chemicals. Some VOC's may have short or long term adverse effects... Usually symptoms of exposure to VOCs include headaches nose and throat irritation, fatigue and dizziness.
Levels of Volatile Organic Compounds for all types of InfraWell panels tested [measured for 20 minutes with the heater at max. temperature] reported concentrations below the level of detection at 0.0 ppm."
